Cracking the R Code| The R Clarity Roadmap One

When my "R" kiddo ask for "ceweal" for breakfast, I know what it really means as I'm sure you do. But as parents, we know there comes a time when sounds should sound good. A time when a child will speak clearly. It can impact both clarity and confidence when an R just isn't growing on its own.

When you go looking for help, there are tons of snazzy options to help your child speak clearly, but there just doesn't seem to be much out there for parents, that's really "the whole enchilada."  Have you ever scrolled through speech therapy tutorials on YouTube, googled searched giant wordlists, and been overwhelmed with all the tiny little unrelated pieces? It's kinda overwhelming. And the big stuff can be filled with professional jargon, because it's meant for speech language pathologists!

Because, I'm glad to be both a homeschool mom and speech language pathologist, it's been really handy in my house to know some things about teaching clear sounds (Especially R...). I know how to guide my child through her R journey. SLP me knew the process and mom me knew to go slow for her sensitive heart. Both were important. But while you've got the parent angle, you may not have the SLP side.

Can I share the process part with you?

If you are looking for something better to practice R at home, something straightforward and start to finish... join me for my interactive online lesson March 8th at 10am EST, when I will be revealing how I initially assess which R skills to focus on first.

"Cracking the R Code" has instruction and a quiz for tackling the first step to R with confidence. The first step in practicing R well is figuring out which TYPES of R need help, because the order you teach R can make gaining progress really painful or relatively painless. I can't diagnose or treat your child's specific needs, but I CAN unpack my insider knowledge around how working on R really...works. And we are going to do it like two friends chatting it up at co-op.

Let's talk:

✅ The 5 different kinds of R and how you can sabotage progress or support it based on which you practice first.

✅ My simple yet effective R placement identification process broken down step-by-step

✅ Access to the replay if you can't make it (or need to watch it again when kids are sleeping!)

✅ Special guide with self-assessment questions I use to determine where a child's R journey should begin

  • BONUS printable back pocket resources!!
  • BONUS demonstration of the Roadmap "pre-quiz" so you can see placement identification in action.

Remember, that while it is no substitute for speech therapy, learning more about R could be what you need to make practicing at home smoother whether you have SLP help or not. You'll have videos to come back to, downloads to refer to, and it's meant to be so sweetly simple. It's for parents with other things (like every day living) on their plate.

If you're ready to gain clarity and confidence around practicing R, this is the perfect first step! Join the workshop live or watch later + keep the replay!

Practicing speech sounds shouldn't be a mystery, so let's spill the tea...shall we? First step in the R Clarity Roadmap is March 8th!😊
